Blizzard has three primary franchises; Warcraft (including World of Warcraft, its expansions, and the older Warcraft Real Time Strategy series), Starcraft (Starcraft in 1998 and Starcraft II in 2010), and Diablo (Diablo, Diablo II in 2000, and Diablo III in 2012).
